DEFENDERS YOUTH MINISTRY:
our purpose:

the purpose of the Defenders Youth Ministry is to blaze for God by bringing other youth to Christ; building a strong body of believers through close friendships; and bettering our lives and others by living according to the Word of God.

DISCOVERING GREAT FRIENDSHIPS
("the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul" 1 Sam. 18:1)

We believe that making and developing closeknit friendships with other Christian youth plays a vital part in building God's kingdom.

• A team can accomplish more than an individual
• Having strong Christian friends will positively influence you
• We all need encouraged and someone to share struggles with

Because we believe that developing good, close, and healthy relationships with other Christians is vital to both the individual growth and kingdom growth we intentionally schedule friendship building opportunities. Here are some of the activities we have done and still do:

1. Friendship Building Exercises
2. White Water Rafting
3. Ski Trips
4. Paintball (10 min. almost every Wed. night)
5. House Parties (NCAA, B-Day, Special Occasions)
6. Summer Camp
7. Lots, lots more

EXPERIENCING GOD THROUGH WORSHIP
("But the hour is coming...when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him" John 4:23)

We believe that one of the reasons God made us was to know Him and to encounter Him through worship. We offer a wide array of avenues in which to experience the "awesomeness" of God through worship

• Super Sundays (area youth rallys)
• Christian Concerts
• Drama Team
• Puppet Team
• Youth Ensemble

LEARNING HOW TO LIVE AN AWESOME LIFE
("I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" Jn. 10:10)

We believe that Jesus wants us to experience a most adventurous, exciting, fulfilling, satisfying, meaningful, and rewarding life.

We believe that this kind of life can only be lived by following God's guidelines and principals that come from the Word of God. We offer many of the following opportunities for youth to come to a saving knowledge of Christ and a new lifestyle that can be learned to lived out:
